Universal Coating Technology is now offering zinc phosphate conversion coatings. Our barrel immersion line is on e of the largest in West Michigan. With our many options of barrels and baskets, we can process parts of all different shapes and sizes.
Zinc Phosphate coatings are typically used as a base for paint/coatings, corrosion protection or break-in lubrication. We currently apply a microcrystalline calcium-modified zinc phosphate in the ranges of 400-900 mg/ft2. With oil application, 96 hour salt spray results are easily obtainable.
